OUR PROGRAM IS A CONTINUOUS PROGRAM. You may join our program at any time and the monthly tuition will be prorated accordingly. Your child will remain enrolled in our program until you inform us that you are discontinuing lessons.
An annual registration fee for each student is due with the first enrollment of the calendar year; $30 for the first family member, $25 second and third family members, maximum of $80 per family. Any registration fees paid after October 1st will be extended through the following year.
MONTHLY TUITION FEES
Tuition fees for lessons per student are $95 per month for group lessons ($23.75 per class), $224 for private lessons ($56 per class), and $126 for semi-private lessons ($31.50 per class). These fees are based on 4 classes per month. We will prorate or adjust the monthly tuition fee for any holidays or extra days that fall on your swim day.
Tuition for Riptide Swim Team members is $99 per month.
We offer a sibling or multi-class discount of 10% off tuition fees for the second day or child each month. (Only one discount may be used).
- Credit and debit card customers will be automatically charged on the 15th of each month for the following month.
- Any family that wishes to not put their credit card on file and be enrolled in AutoPay, must make payment by the 5th of the month for the following month. A credit card must be on file and will be charged on the 15th of the month if a check or cash has not been received.
- If you choose not to provide a credit card on file, a prepayment of 3 months must be received for each quarter.
- If your check is returned to us for any reason, a $30 fee will be charged to your account; payment is due immediately upon notification.
- A Late Fee of $15 will be charged if payment has not been received by the 25th of the month.
- We reserve the right to remove a student from a class due to nonpayment.
All registration fees and tuition are due at the time of enrollment and are nonrefundable. We reserve the right to change or cancel any class at any time.
If you are planning on discontinuing lessons, you must notify us in writing by completing our Cancellation Form available online at QualitySwimming.com or by email to (firstname.lastname@example.org) by the 5th of the preceding month (for example, notification must be received by March 5th to discontinue lessons for April). You will receive an email confirming the cancellation of your lessons. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact us to confirm your cancellation. There will be no refunds for any reason. Please do not ask us to make any exceptions.
If it is raining at your home or office, please do not assume that it is raining at the pool. We do swim in the rain, but not if conditions are dangerous. We cancel our lessons in 30 minute increments.
Quality Swimming may cancel lessons for other weather conditions including outdoor temperature, wind factor, and severe weather reports.
We will do our best to contact you by phone, email, text, and/or update Facebook if we are canceling lessons. Please let us know if your contact information has changed. If you have not heard from us, it is best to arrive. If you choose to not come to your lesson because of bad weather and we are not cancelled, we will not reschedule the lesson.
ABSENCE AND MAKEUP POLICY
In order to meet our commitment to providing timely, quality service to all of our customers, we do not encourage makeups as they do affect the integrity of the class. It is very important to try to attend your regular scheduled class which is the best possible learning environment for your child. However, we realize that it is sometimes impossible to attend your regular schedule class. We must strictly enforce our policies. Please do not ask us to make exceptions.
- One makeup class for each class per week per month period may be scheduled.
- Absences will be honored for 60 days.
- All absences due to Quality Swimming cancellations (weather, staffing or pool issue) will be honored and will not expire.
- Absences may not be credited to the next month’s tuition.
- We do not guarantee the same teacher, time or student ratio for group lesson makeups.
- Special makeup classes may be created as needed.
- Additional missed classes may be rescheduled for a $5 fee based on availability.
PROLONGED ABSENCES AND HOLIDAYS
If you know in advance that your child will miss a number of lessons, or if your child will be out for an extended time due to illness or vacation, we recommend that you suspend your lessons. The remaining balance will be held on your Quality Swimming account for 3 months from the date of issue. If this 3 month period occurs during the Quality Swimming Winter Break between December and January, it will be extended to 4 months from the date of issue. No refunds will be issued.
No classes will be credited for past missed lessons if you fail to notify us in writing prior to your extended absence.
If you suspend your lessons for any reason, we cannot guarantee the same swim schedule or instructor when you are ready to return. We will do our best to accommodate you; however, some instructors and certain hours are difficult to schedule.
If a student is not toilet trained or toilet trained for less than 6 months, he/she must wear a disposable swim diaper and an approved cloth swim diaper to assure a double layer of protection. The cloth swim diaper must pass the two finger test (if 2 fingers can be inserted under the elastic in the legs and waist, the swim diaper is too large and the child will not be permitted in the water). Disposable swim diapers alone do not pass the Board of Health Code for public pools. Swim diapers are available for purchase through us at our locations.
Please do not let children enter the pool area until the teacher calls for them. All children must be supervised by parents when not in the water. Additional water time is at the instructor’s discretion based on safety factors.
PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS
Photos and videos are occasionally taken at Quality Swimming and are used for Quality Swimming’s website, publicity purposes and on social media such as Facebook and YouTube. Please indicate on your registration form if you would not like your child’s photo or video used.
