Level Group Classes

Recommended for students ages 3 ½ and up.  Students are grouped in 30-minute classes based on their skill level.  Safety skills are taught at every level.  We have 6 levels for each child to progress through before reaching our Pre-team levels.

Our curriculum is posted at our locations and our levels are color-coded.  Every child will receive a bracelet according to the class level they are in.  Watch their excitement as they progress and collect a rainbow of bracelets.

In our beginner levels, Levels 1 – 3, we move from becoming comfortable in the water to back floating, paddling arms, and rolling over for a breath.

In our more advanced levels, Levels 4 – 6, we focus on learning the strokes and building endurance.

Level 1

Level 1

In Level 1, our focus is on water adjustment, becoming comfortable in the water and feeling the buoyancy and balance of the water. In this level, the student learns to be comfortable going under the water.
Level 2

Level 2

Our focus in Level 2 is on moving in the water and back floating. The students work on paddling their arms, retrieving objects from the bottom of the pool and back floating independently.
Level 3

Level 3

In Level 3, our focus is on rolling over to float and take a breath independently. The students are introduced to big arms and backstroke.
Level 4

Level 4

Our focus in Level 4 is on side breathing. Students learn freestyle with breathing to one side, backstroke and introduced to breaststroke.
Level 5

Level 5

In Level 5, our focus is on Alternate Side Breathing. Students are introduced to butterfly, treading water, and endurance swimming.
Level 6

Level 6
