Recommended for students ages 3 ½ and up. Students are grouped in 30-minute classes based on their skill level. Safety skills are taught at every level.
In Level 3, our focus is on rolling over to float and take a breath independently. The students are introduced to big arms and backstroke.
We will work on the following skills in Level 3:
Jump in, roll over to float and breath
Jump in, swim back
Independent rolling over to float and breath
Introduction to streamline push/glide
Swim 10 feet with rolling over to float and breath
Introduction to big arms – only when student can roll over to float and breath independently
Elementary backstroke kicks and arms
Backstroke kicks with board
Introduction to Breaststroke kicks
Introduction to Dolphin kicks
