Recommended for students ages 2 ½ to 4 years old. Waterbug classes are for the child who is ready to enter a group without a parent or caregiver present. Children under the age of 2 ½ must have completed Baby & Me classes or private lessons and must be recommended by a teacher. Our small group size for toddler classes consist of a student to teacher ratio of 3:1.
Our Toddler swim classes progress from beginner skills, including breath control and safety skills to more advanced skills including rolling over, back floating, and swimming independently.
All children that have not been potty-trained for over 6 months must wear a disposable swim diaper and a reusable cloth swim diaper. Reusable cloth swim diapers are available at our locations.
